Dog Tired Adventures
Locally Owned & Operated Dog Walking
Oceanside Area, Vancouver Island, B.C.
In 2017, Sherry Dance started dog walking for her friends and the demand grew enormously. In 2020, Sherry registered, licensed, insured Dog Tired Adventures and completed her Canine First Aid.
Sherry has lived in the Oceanside area for many years, and is familiar with the walking areas and trails. 'I hike with my dogs on trails away from people and other dogs to maintain everyone's safety and give my clients an active, fun and stimulating hike'.
Sherry's dog adventures include pickup and drop-off service for a 1.5 hour off leash hike, finished with a tick check and towel dry!
TESTIMONIALS
From Wendy:
I am pleased to recommend Sherry Dance and Dog Tired Adventures for dog walking services. Sherry recognizes the unique dispositions and needs of her charges, and she loves them all. Sherry’s group walks at Englishman River are the highlight of Judge’s week. He comes home happy, tired and socialized, and I feel good knowing he’s having a fun time outside with his pals while I’m at work.
From Leslie:
Sherry has been walking our black lab “Tazzy” for around 4 years. She has also had him come and stay at her place lots of times.
Tazzy would not do well at a kennel and anything that was not a home environment. He always comes back home happy and not stressed at all from Sherry’s. She truly loves the dogs.
In the past we have had to travel a lot for meetings and it always feels good to know he is happy and not stressed when we are away. I can breath easy that he is being well taken care of.
From Barb:
I went to Las Vegas for 10 days in December and left my dog Bailey in Sherrie’s care. Sherry has been walking Bailey for the last 3 years as I have been unable to properly exercise her due to arthritis and 2 knee replacements.
Bailey absolutely loves Sherry and Sherry absolutely loves Bailey right back. I knew that Bailey would not only be cared for and exercised in Sherry’s home but would be loved (and a little spoiled)!
My 10 days became a month as I contracted COVID in Vegas. Luckily it was a very mild case. Sherry was able to keep Bailey for the whole time and I didn’t have to worry about her while I navigated rescheduling, testing and quarantine.
I highly recommend Sherry. She is dedicated, responsible and excellent with all the dogs in her care. Even though I now have new knees, I continue to employ Sherry to walk Bailey twice a week because she has such a good time on her walks and comes back dog tired.
From Andrea:
Fear not! Sherry is the “Dog Whisperer extraordinaire”.
I don’t think I have ever met a person that loves dogs more than her. She looked after my Sheltie for an extended sit when we went to South Africa. I now have a rough collie (Brynn) which Sherry has looked after as well. I would not hesitate to leave Brynn with Sherry for long periods of time which is in the works for the upcoming year.
Your dogs will have so much fun and will let you know how much love Sherry and the care she gives them.
From Cyndi:
Sherry and Winston hit it off right from the start. There was no looking back to say 'bye Mom' see your later. Nope. Just a happy tired Westie that came home at the end of a hike or boarding. He couldn't get into her arms quickly enough and would demand her attention. Sherry has a special talent with dogs and works hard to ensure they have a rewarding time with the pack and her!
